This is funny because it is so believable. We’ve seen “progressive” judges make far more idiotic rulings than this. Progressive hubris is inherent in what passes for progressive philosophy. Since most “progressive” judges learn their ideology they way dogs learn to fetch, there are bound to be moments of sublime stupidity. That this isn’t a true judicial ruling doesn’t make it less funny. Or less likely to actually occur in the future.
